I was born in -57, and have
been playing guitar since the age of 16 after a couple of years listening to Jimi
Hendrix, The Allman Brothers Band, Eric Clapton (Bluesbreakers), Led Zeppelin, ZZ Top and
others when I felt that I just have to start play guitar to get that feeling of expressing
myself through music.
Totally selftaught I walked the long way of learning the instrument(and still are),
playing different bands up to day having my own band "Wallin´s Blues"
and I´m writing my own music in addition to
play others songs.
I have been playing the guitar for about 25 years now and always is trying to get
something new out of it. The problem is that when you thought youve'd learned one thing
there's always something new around the corner. But that's what it's all about isn't it,
to get past that corner for the next one, and they tend to never end, do they...
I have played with bands of different styles over the years. But the blues is the bottom
line to me. That is why I first started up Wallin´s Blues as a trio in -90, started
singing lead vocals for the first time,to do more on the guitar than I had done before and
start writing my own music. Sometimes we add on with a Hammondplayer.
And that's were we are at today, adding my own blues based music along with covers of
S.R.V, ZZ Top, blues standards and more...
Lately I spended some money in recording equipment so that I could try out and arrange
my songs by myself.
Don't ever give it up !
Play on !
